Auditory Brain Stem Responses in Normal Rabbits

Abstract
|
|
|
Auditory brain stem responses were recorded in normal rabbits anesthetized with 10% chloral hydrate.
Five distinct peaks were regularly observed, two(wave Ⅱ and Wave Ⅴ)of them were more pronounced.
The mean ABR threshold was 17.8 dB at 2KHz, 7.2 dB at 4KHz, and 3.9 dB at 6KHz.
The wave latencies were gradually prolonged with decrease of stimulus intensity.
